Kishore Raja serves as vice president, engineering strategic programs at Boingo Wireless, where he is responsible for executing and managing several R&D strategic initiatives including Wi-Fi Hotspot 2.0, small cells, Virtualization and IoT.

He has more than 18 years of experience in architecting and designing solutions for mobile platforms in the wireless industry. Since joining Boingo in 2007 he was one of the initial few in the company responsible for driving Hotspot 2.0 activities. Raja actively participates, chairs and contributes to wireless industry standards in several groups at Wireless Broadband Alliance, Wi-Fi Alliance, CBRS and MulteFire.

Raja holds a Bachelors of Engineering in Computer Science from Bangalore University and a Master’s of Science in Data Communication Networks and Distributed Systems from University of London. He has approved patents in the wireless industry, has written and published several white papers and received the 2016 Inventor/Innovator award at Digital Diversity Network.
