Profile

Scott Poretsky has been leading design and implementation of communications solutions for over 25 years. As AVP of Solutions Architecture at Allot Communications, Scott collaborates with network operators to implement innovative solutions for 5G service delivery, IoT cybersecurity, and QoE analytics. Previously, Scott held leadership positions at successful startups NextPoint and Avici Systems. Scott is currently Chairperson for the IEEE ComSoc’s Communications Quality and Reliability Technical Committee (CQR-TC). Scott served as Technical Chair of the IMS Forum, authored numerous IETF RFCs, and holds a patent for networking technology. Scott has an MSEE from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute and BSEE from the University of Vermont.
