Tom Yin leads the Equinix SDN/NFV Business Development effort. Since joining Equinix in 2017, he has led the launch of Equinix Network Edge Service. Prior to Equinix, Tom served in variety of leadership roles in sales, business development and technical sales at IBM-USA for 17 years, and prior to that was the Chief Wireless Architect of Optus (Australia Network Provider), during major infrastructure build-out following spectrum win. Earlier in Tom’s career, he was a kernel developer focused on Inter-Process Communications and Telco’s Advance Intelligent Network (AIN) services. Tom holds dual-degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from University of Sydney, Australia.
