In his role as Executive Director, Jason is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Streaming Video Alliance, a not-for-profit organization working to help shape the future of online video through the development of best practices, guidelines, technical/functional requirements, and standards. His other responsibilities include growing the membership base, facilitating the development of the organization's product, and developing/executing on the organization's strategy and goals. As the "face" of the organization, Jason also focuses on building awareness through evangelism (i.e., speaking at industry conferences around the world), industry outreach (i.e., engaging with analysts and press), and content such as whitepapers, blogs, and ebooks.
