Dr. Holger Erkens is a senior partner manager at Deutsche Telekom’s Group Technology organization. He is responsible for driving DT’s vision of the Open RAN ecosystem and aligning it with operators, vendors and communities. Holger co-coordinates the Open RAN MoU group where DT fosters Open RAN adoption jointly with other leading European operators.

Holger has more than 15 years of experience in the radio infrastructure, microelectronics and telecoms industry with roles ranging from R&D to procurement and vendor management. His current interests are particularly in the areas of open RAN and datacenter infrastructure. He holds a Ph.D. title from RWTH Aachen University.
