James joined Downing in 2012, having previously qualified as an ACA with PwC in London and Hong Kong before heading up the finance and operations of a UK-based drinks company. James has led investments in the education, e-commerce and SaaS space, and serves on the board of a number of investee companies including healthcare platform Live Better With and luxury watch reseller Xupes.
