Profile

Laura Aymerich-Franch is a Ramón y Cajal advanced research fellow at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. Previously, she was a Marie Curie IOF postdoctoral researcher at EventLab, Universitat de Barcelona (2016-17) and at the CNRS-AIST Joint Robotics Laboratory in Japan (2014-16). Before that, she was a Fulbright postdoctoral scholar at Virtual Human Interaction Lab, Stanford University (2012-14). She holds a PhD Cum Laude in Communication & Advertising (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, 2010). Her research is focused at promoting the positive applied uses of virtual reality and social robots to enhance psychological well-being. – Personal website: www.aymerichfranch.com
