Profile

Before founding Kindred Capital, Leila was part of the founding team of GenapSys, a DNA sequencing company in Silicon Valley, for which she raised $50m from investors including Yuri Milner and Stanford University. Prior to that she was General Manager of Kleiner Perkins backed business Plum District, having started her career at Bain & Company. Leila has a first class degree in Mathematics from Yale University and a Harvard MBA.
