Mariana is a senior analyst with Ovum's Consumer Services team, focusing on the smart home market. Her areas of expertise are: Smart home business models, AI assistants and assisted living. She joined Ovum in March 2016, having previously worked for BT Global Services, where, among other things, she led the Latin American Insight & Analytics team and conducted competitor and customer research. Prior to BT, she worked for IDC and Frost & Sullivan.

Mariana holds an MA in Political Economy from the University of Sheffield and a BA in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires.
