Philippe Fremont is the vice president of IoT in Europe. He started his career in the telecom industry at Sagem in France. In 1994 Philippe transitioned to the electronics industry holding various roles in sales and marketing with semiconductor manufacturers and distributors. He joined Avnet in 2006 as the South European vice president of sales and in 2014 became the VP of Technical Marketing for Avnet Silica. Philippe was named into his current role in January where he is in charge of the European IoT strategy including the development of technology driven solutions, new business acquisition and revenue growth.
