Tom is the COO and Co-founder of Ada, the National College for Digital Skills. Ada is the first new Further Education college to open in 23 years and is a centre of excellence for the teaching and learning of computing. It is also aspires to be an engine of social mobility with a particular emphasis on recruiting those from a low income backgrounds and women to help transform the face of tech. Tom was originally a participant in the first cohort of teachers for Teach First. Afterwards he worked at Deloitte Consulting on a variety of technology projects from where he was seconded to the London Olympics where he ensured 5 million items were delivered on time to 187 venues. More recently, he worked at Teach First leading the strategy team
