ANNOUNCING OUR EXECUTIVE KEYNOTE, TAN KIAT HOW
We're pleased to announce the CEO of Info-communications Media Development Authority (IMDA), Mr Tan Kiat How has been confirmed as a Keynote Speaker at TechXLR8 Asia!
Mr Tan was appointed CEO of the IMDA and Commissioner of the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) in Jan 2017. Prior to his appointment in IMDA, Mr Tan was the Deputy Secretary (Cyber and Technology) in the Ministry of Communications and Information (MCI), as well as served in the Ministry of Finance (MOF), the Pioneer Generation Office (PGO) and the former Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA). He was involved in refining the national cybersecurity strategy with the Cyber Security Agency (CSA) and spearheaded community engagement efforts to Pioneer Generation members and their caregivers. He was part of the team developing the Intelligent Nation 2015 plan and the Next Generation Nationwide Broadband Network for Singapore.

The Hotel is accessible by vehicle via both Bayfront Avenue and Sheares Link. There are bus stops with regular bus services along Bayfront Avenue, and designated car and taxi drop-off points outside Hotel Tower 1 and Hotel Tower 3. The closest car park entrance is on Bayfront Avenue next to Hotel Tower 3; valet car parking is also available at Hotel Tower 1. From MRT Bayfront Station, it is a 5-minute walk to the Hotel by underpass or across the covered Garden View Bridge.
