Shashank Luthra is a global technology executive with 15 plus years of industry andmanagement consulting experience across functions and geographies. He is a director atCisco Systems and leads the Digital Transformation Office for ASEAN. The DigitalTransformation Office works closely with our key customers as they undertake their digitaltransformation journeys.As the head of the Digital Transformation Office, Shashank leads a team that focuses onhelping customers drive business outcomes from their investments in innovative technologies.The team helps match customers’ business and technology needs with the appropriate Ciscoand partner solutions. The team also focuses on ensuring that the right solution is architectedand can be supported by the relevant business case. Shashank is based in Singapore and histeam supports customers in multiple verticals across the ASEAN countries. Shashank focuseson Cisco’s Financial Services customers in particular as his area of personal expertise andpassion.Shashank has been at Cisco for over 6 years and his previous roles included leading CiscoConsulting Services for ASEAN (and being the leader for the Financial Services Practice forthe APJC region), leading business development across APJC for the enterprise verticals(including financial services, retail, manufacturing, oil & gas and mining) and global strategy &planning for the Smart+Connected Communities business and transformational initiatives forCisco India.Prior to Cisco, Shashank headed strategy and the office of the COO at WNS Global Services(a top 3 Indian BPO provider). He also spent 10 years at McKinsey & Company leaving as anAssociate Partner. During his time at McKinsey, he was part of the Mumbai and Chicagooffices serving clients across a variety of industries including financial services, high-tech,telecom and resources across emerging and developed markets. He also co-authored anarticle in the McKinsey Quarterly: ‘When to make India a manufacturing base’.Shashank has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and a BA (Hons)degree in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University.
