We reformatted our TV Connect show to reflect our 2017 theme 'Disruptive Convergence: Redefining the audience-driven TV World'. The event was packed with new show floor features and visitors benefited from a whole range of free learning and networking opportunities.
Attendees had the chance to meet, greet & engage with leading innovators, disruptors and influencers from a range of industry leading telecom operators, cable operators, MSO's, broadcasters, OTTtv players and content owners at one of the many networking events.
The TV Connect 'Social Programme' offered an unrivaled mix of formal, informal, intimate and large-scale events that placed guests at the heart of the TV Connect community.
All TV Connect attendees were invited to the official opening ceremony on Tuesday 28 March hosted by Kate Silverton with complimentary drinks courtesy of SoftAtHome.
The Connected Entertainment Hub was located on the show floor and was free to attend for all attendees. Guests joined us across the two days to hear pioneering leaders discuss what is happening 'Here and Now' and what they are developing for the future. Key topics included: Content Distribution, Big Data, VR and AR, LTE Broadcast and more.
During TV Connect we once again ran our highly popular Analyst Clinic. This proved to be a valuable opportunity for attendees to have a face-to-face meeting with one of Ovum’s TV/video analysts, where they gained further insights from the experts beyond what was covered in the event programme.
We would like to thank all press who attended TV Connect London and we look forward to welcoming you to our next event.
