Daniel Simmons heads global research on service provider set-top boxes, consumer premises equipment (CPE), content security, and user interfaces.

Dan has extensive experience in producing custom research for all aspects of television technology, influencing the strategies of many of the sector’s largest companies. His expertise includes a nuanced understanding of how service providers distribute content around the home, and how consumers interact
with content.

Dan worked previously at Mitsubishi Electric, where he designed image-processing algorithms. He is a graduate of the University of Surrey in Guildford, England, and has a Bachelor of Science in physics.
