Ali R. Mohadjer is currently the President & CEO of SatWays Inc. as well as its subsidiary, Network Service Solutions. With over 30 years of telecom experience, , Ali has built a vast and in-depth portfolio of satellite telecommunication expertise in the areas of Application development, business processes, operations, engineering, network design and implementation of network and customer service in satellite communication industry.
Since 2004, Ali has built customer centric companies that provide customized and thought leading solution offerings which serve multiple industries including VSAT, Maritime, Communications, Finance, and Energy (Oil and Gas). Ali’s companies are known most for broadband services, outsourcing, and solution-oriented consulting to support implementation through contract execution. Most recently, Ali has been the Executive Advisor to one of the largest global integrators in the Communications industry, assisting in organizational realignment and operational efficiency. Ali has also recently been the Compliance Advisor to one of the largest hospitality providers in the Maritime industry, responsible for ensuring vendors meet contract requirements and perform to engineering specifications.
Prior to 2004, Ali spent over 16 years at Hughes Network Systems where he led multiple business and technological modernizations. Ali led the shared-hub global expansion deployments into Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Americas. Ali served as the COO of satellite disaster recovery which included service restoration of over hundred thousand remotes. Ali also led the deployment of the largest video network with tens of thousands of revivers.
Ali has been the recipient of globally recognized awards including the annual Broadcaster Award from the International Broadcasting Association. Ali received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the University of the District of Columbia in 1981.
