Elisabeth’s entire career has been focused on commercial satellites, telecommunications and broadcasting. During the course of her career she has advised and worked with stakeholders across the industry; from startups to major global and international businesses, governments and regulatory bodies.

Her satellite experience spans six continents, 65 countries and five frequencies and associated terrestrial services. Assignments include: market assessments, business plans, due diligence, JV formation, market entry strategies and writing.

Prior to founding Definitive Direction in 2002, Elisabeth served as Associate Director, Corporate Strategy and International Business Development for Hughes Electronics. During her ten years there – she worked on every acquisition and JV that the company considered, as well as helping clients and potential clients around the world develop their business plans.

She is also associate editor and a regular contributor to Satellite Executive Briefing.
