John Morris, a former lawyer, banker and telecommunications entrepreneur, is a co-founder and director of Geeks Without Frontiers. Geeks is a not for profit, technology neutral, platform for global change whose mission is to bring the benefits of broadband connectivity — health, education, poverty reduction, gender equality and the other UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) — to the estimated 3.5 billion people who remain unconnected. The Geeks platform provides innovative regulatory and financial models and expert technical solutions for SDG-related connectivity needs and a high-level ‘think-tank’ and implementation channel for Governments, Corporates, INGO’s, not for profits, foundations and others seeking to address or participate in addressing such needs.
