Martin Coleman is Executive Director, the Satcoms Innovation Group (SIG). Martin has been active in spearheading several significant initiatives, leading the advance in new tools to resolve all types of VSAT interference (e.g. SatGuard) and introducing Carrier ID. Martin regularly addresses the industry on the management of Spectrum and Space, including radio frequency interference (RFI), at global industry events and facilitates SIG workshops throughout the year. Working with the ITU and major broadcasters in dealing with harmful interference is another facet of the groups work.

SIG is heavily involved in introducing innovative technology and processes, embedding mitigation techniques within commercially available products, to mitigate all types of satellite interference. With recent focus on the next generation of tools required to meet the demand of both LEO and MEO network expansion using AI.

SIG supports all major industry groups in getting all spectrum initiatives advanced.
