Mr. LIU Ziping is Deputy Secretary General of Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT). He was elected as Deputy Secretary General of APT in 2020 and re-elected for the position in 2023. Before joining APT Secretariat, he worked for many years with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of PR.China with the responsibility for multilateral and bilateral cooperation on ICT. He used to serve as Chair of APEC Telecommunications and Information Working Group. He received a degree of Bachelor of Arts in Shanghai International Studies University and a Master Degree of Business Administration in the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
