Jose Ordonez-Lucena is a Technology Expert and Standards Specialist at Telefónica, within the Global CTIO Unit. He is currently working on technology exploration activities for 5G and B5G systems, with a special focus on end-to-end network slicing solutions and APIs for network capability exposure, considering their joint applicability for public-private network integration scenarios.

Jose is actively involved in research and innovation activities, with a number of papers published in relevant magazines and conferences, and with participation in different European projects, including Hexa-X and Hexa-X-II (the 6G flagship project). He is also Telefónica’s OSS delegate in standard bodies and telco industry fora, contributing to 3GPP SA5, ETSI ISG ZSM, GSMA NG, GSMA Open Gateway and CAMARA (Telco Global API Alliance).
