Congo telecom is the National Global Operator of Republic of Congo with an unique Shareholder as State of Congo. Congo telecom provides Voice, communications infrastructure, including optical fiber and bandwidth connectivity, colocation and MPLS to the Congolese, African Business and the rest of the world.  Congo telecom Customers include wireless and wireline carriers, media and content companies and finance, healthcare and other large enterprises.


Since 2012, Congo telecom has begun its renovation thanks to the National Coverage on telecommunication Infrastructure.
National coverage in telecommunications infrastructure is a project, which involves the deployment of telecommunications infrastructure based on the fiber over the entire national territory. It is sequentially in three phases, and now the first two phases has been completed successfully. 

The first two Phases bring:

  • Three Next Generation Switches divided between Pointe-Noire, Brazzaville and Oyo, 
  • Backbone with two fibers between Pointe-Noire and OWANDO and fiber from Owando and Ouesso, in the far north of the Congo, a total of about 3000 km of optical fiber deployment
  • Metropolitan ring in Brazzaville, Pointe-Noire and Oyo, as well as in the chief towns of the department, a total of about 600 km of optical fiber deployment.


Congo telecom is also a member of the consortium West Africa Cable system (WACS). The West African Cable is a joint venture submarine cable system deployed by Congo telecom and Several other African and European Telecommunications Operator. The System Connect Republic of Congo to ten African and 3 European countries. This cable enable the ability of Congo telecom to provide the best and high reliable services to his customer and to have the shortest latency from WEST African Coast.
Congo telecom and SCPT in DRC has deployed a sub river fiber in order to connect the two closest Capital city in the world. Congo telecom has deployed a fiber to the border of Cabinda in order to offer the international access in fiber in this area. Congo telecom has also Presence in London, Frankfurt, Paris, Johannesburg, Cameroon, Nigeria, and Ivory Coast. Other Pan African Pop will be build on the first quarter of next year.
