20+ years of experience in Telecom Networks. He has acquired most of his experience in Network operators as well as Global operators group functions.
Ahmed has long experience in the Mobile Networks, in addition to Fixed Network knowledge, which helped him in his current position in Deutsche Telekom Group as: VP Network convergence since end of 2019.
Besides Convergence being his current focus area, he is driving other innovation activities in the space of Wi-Fi, Fixed Networks, and security.
He has also worked for over a decade on Investments management & Control across different operating companies to maximize return on technology investments, due to his various Group positions, which enriched his experience with business dimensions of technology, balancing between technology and shareholders value. He acquired his MBA in 2011 in Heinrich-Heine university in Germany, with his thesis focused on Mobile Network spectrum choice and economics.
