Hans Geerdes, PhD, is an expert in technoeconomic and competitive analysis, with extensive experience covering subjects such as LEO Satellite Networks, Mobile Convergence, Open RAN, and Cloud and Edge Computing. Before joining Cable Labs, Dr. Geerdes held several corporate strategy leadership roles at Nokia and served as Project Leader at Booz & Company, where he specialized in Telecoms and Enterprise IT strategy consulting. He earned his PhD in Mathematics from Berlin University of Technology. Outside of his professional pursuits, Dr. Geerdes enjoys boxing, road cycling, and experiencing classical and contemporary music.
