Jason is an executive leader and Chief Technologist and has been in the TV and media industry for over 25 years. He is currently the CTO and Co-Founder of a startup in the identity and measurement space developing AI-as-a-Service data solutions. At Xandr a Microsoft company, Jason lead the Data Science and Analytics organization which designed and built AI/ML for Product and cybersecurity business needs. The cybersecurity AI/ML work at Xandr is directly relatable to the Internet Routing Security Profile being discussed on this panel. Prior to Xandr, Jason was VP of Software Architecture at Canoe a Comcast company. Before Canoe Jason lead various engineering teams for TVGuide and Guideworks doing embedded software engineering creating on-screen programming guides which were the predecessors to products like Comcast Xfinity. Jason holds around a dozen patents as primary inventor in the AI/ML, data engineering, cybersecurity and web3 spaces. He also holds an MS in Software Engineering and is pursuing a PhD in Computer Science. One day hoping to be the cool old dude professor teaching the next generation. He is also writing a book.
