Mike Emmendorfer is VP of Technology and Field CTO at Calix with responsibility for defining new access, premises, and cloud platforms and standards. He is a technology evangelist discussing vision and requirements with (CSPs). Prior to Calix, he was VP of Systems Engineering and Architecture at both CommScope and ARRIS. In 1999, he joined Charter Communications as a founding member and later engineering executive.

Mike is inducted into the Cable TV Pioneers and currently serving on the Broadband Forum’s Executive Advisory Board (EAB), Chair of the Fiber Broadband Association - Sustainability Working Group and the prpl Foundation Board of Directors. He has 40+ publications and 11 patents, holds a B.Sc. in Management Information Systems from Saint Louis University as well as a Professional Certificate in CTO from the MIT.
