Paul Fonte is Senior Director of the Future Infrastructure Group at CableLabs, where he leads innovation initiatives focused on AI-driven network evolution. He drives programs including Network-as-a-Service (NaaS), Quality by Design, and Session Automation, advancing AI-native and agentic architectures across HFC and fiber networks.

Paul works closely with global operators, technology partners, and standards bodies to operationalize telemetry, edge intelligence, and closed-loop automation. His work spans AI interoperability, embodied AI at the network edge, and scalable multi-agent orchestration, helping transform cable networks from service providers into intelligent platforms that predict, adapt, and continuously improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
