Robert Flask is a 22-year veteran of the communications test industry. He leads the Cable Instrument solution business within Viavi Solutions and has responsibility for P&L, and overall roadmap and strategy. His focus has been working with operators around the world to successfully transition to 1 Gigbit/s and DOCSIS3.1. He has both engineering and business background with deep understanding of the technologies and their implications to the industry. He has been a regular speaker and contributor to articles throughout his career. Rob has held diverse leadership roles, including product and program management and engineering.
