Mar Tarres is the VP of Products at pdvWireless Inc., a company focused on providing game-changing connectivity for critical infrastructure, including next-generation communications platforms to support utilities’ grid modernization and cybersecurity strategies. At pdvWireless, Mar is responsible for leading the company’s product strategy. She focuses on delivering and managing innovative solutions that maximize the value of our spectrum, meet the stringent market demands of the critical infrastructure segment, and drive company growth.

Mar is also currently focused in establishing and growing the Utility Broadband Alliance (UBBA), and industry alliance focused in accelerating utility systems modernization by advancing private broadband networks to address the evolving needs of America’s critical infrastructure.

Prior to joining pdvWireless in April 2018, Mar held several product and technology leadership roles at telecommunications and online education companies such as Ligado Networks, K12.com, Nextel International among others. Mar started her USA career as a management consultant at PRTM now owned by PricewaterhouseCoopers. She has extensive experience in successfully establishing and delivering large scale business, operations, product and technology programs. Her track record in leading and driving cross-functional, multi-country and multi-partner teams to achieve outstanding results make her an accomplished change agent.

Mar holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, Barcelona, Spain and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.
