Awarded to the company (public or private) that stands out from its competitors, innovates constantly, has a track record of earnings stability and has the potential to outperform the market.

Executive of the Year

Awarded to the senior executive who has demonstrated decisive leadership, good judgement and has stood out in the past year as someone who made an unmistakable difference in their company or business unit.

Most Innovative Broadband Product or Solution

Awarded to the company that has launched the most innovative new product or solution to enable the delivery or enhance the user experience of high-speed broadband access.

Most Innovative Cloud Product or Service

Awarded to the service provider, cloud provider or vendor that has launched the most innovative cloud-native, communications-focused product or service during the past year.

Most Innovative Optical Networking Product

Awarded to the optical systems vendor or optical components vendor that has provided the most innovative optical networking solution for service provider or webscale customers. 

Most Innovative RAN Product or Solution

Awarded to the vendor with the most innovative radio access network (RAN) product or solution that was either launched or significantly improved during the past year. 

Most Innovative Routing and Switching Solution

Awarded to the vendor that has launched the most innovative hardware- or software-based routing and switching solution for network operators, enterprises, cloud networks or data center applications.

Most Innovative Service Provider Transport Product or Solution

Awarded to the vendor providing the most innovative transport solution for service provider customers. The range of applications could include satellite backhaul, microwave, mobile network fronthaul and backhaul, as well as traditional telecom WDM. 

Most Innovative Telecom Software Product or Solution

Awarded to the vendor providing the most innovative solution that helps CSPs evolve and improve their IT back office (OSS/BSS/CX), making their networks more efficient and allowing them to deliver a better customer experience.

Most Innovative Test & Measurement Product or Solution

Awarded to the systems vendor with the most innovative new solution that aids communications service providers in network testing, measurement, monitoring or assurance.

Outstanding Use Case: AI/Machine Learning

Awarded to the company that is using artificial intelligence or machine learning in an innovative way to improve network performance, customer service or business operations.

Outstanding Use Case: Bridging the Digital Divide

Awarded to the company or institution presenting the best example of how it is successfully working to broaden access and reduce the barriers to affordable Internet connectivity for underserved communities.

Outstanding Use Case: Customer Experience

Awarded to the company that used its communications technology or network to deliver a superior experience to business, consumer or government customers.

Outstanding Use Case: Driving Digital Transformation

Awarded to vendor or service provider presenting the most compelling use case of how they are working to modernize themselves or a customer with some kind of digtial transformation. 

Outstanding Use Case: IoT

Awarded to the service provider or vendor presenting the most compelling example of how it is helping a businesses, organization or municipality improve with innovative Internet of Things devices and services.

Outstanding Use Case: Network and Service Automation

Awarded to the company presenting the most interesting use case where they've used new technology to reduce the time it takes to set up, deploy, integrate, scale or secure network infrastructure, network services or applications. 

Outstanding Use Case: Network Energy Efficiency

Awarded to the company that has helped a network operator improve the energy efficiency of its networks by retiring or consolidating infrastructure, using modern software and equipment, adopting more data-driven operations and more.

Outstanding Use Case: Networked Edge

Awarded to the company that can articulate a compelling example of how it delivered edge computing solutions – either network or customer-facing. 

Outstanding Use Case: Private Networks

Awarded to the company that can share the most compelling example of building and/or operating a private wireless network on behalf of a corporate or municipal customer.

Outstanding Use Case: RAN Deployment

Awarded to the company with an outstanding example of a successful RAN deployment for a service provider network.
