Sharon Shea brings more than a decade of experience to B2B journalism, earning accolades for her coverage of cybersecurity and IoT. As executive editor of TechTarget SearchSecurity, she leads editorial strategy and content development for one of the industry's most trusted cybersecurity resources. In this role, she writes and edits articles designed to help CISOs and security leaders navigate the evolving threat landscape, implement security strategies and make informed technology decisions.

Shea joined TechTarget in 2011 as a marketing copywriter and became an editor for SearchSecurity in 2013. She launched IoT Agenda in 2016 and returned to SearchSecurity in 2019 to focus on cybersecurity coverage.

Shea graduated from Suffolk University with a BSJ in print journalism and a minor in advertising. She has won multiple Azbee awards from the American Society of Business Publication Editors -- including national and regional honors for conference coverage, editing and writing, and the launch of IoT Agenda as a new website -- as well as TechTarget's Editor of the Year award.
