John Powers is the Vice President of Global Renewable Energy and Carbon Advisory for Schneider Electric Advisory Services. SE Advisory Services provides energy and sustainability consulting services to commercial and industrial (C&I) clients including over 40% of the Fortune 500. The Renewable Energy and Carbon Advisory practice is the world’s leading buy-side advisor around renewable energy strategy, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and Tax Credit Investment solutions, including award-winning supply chain decarbonization programs such as Energize and Catalyze.

In his 20+ years in the renewable energy industry, Mr. Powers and his team have advised C&I clients on the purchase of more than 25 GW of wind and solar power in the Americas, Europe, Asia and Australia, enabling over $50B USD in renewable energy investment. Mr. Powers earned a BSE in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University.
