Dr. Mitch TSENG is a veteran in the international in communicationstandards community. He had been leading the development of various telecommunicationstandards in TIA, 3GPP2, and 3GPP through Nortel Networks and Nokia for 15years. His latest passion is to promote IoT Services, especially in the areasof Industrial IoT (IIoT), Vehicular Telematics (VT), and Services expanded fromthe Home Domain. He has served multiple leadershippositions in many international industrial and standards forums. He is now theChair of TIA Engineering Committee TR-48 (Vehicular Telematics) and the Chairof the Innovation Task Group of the Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC). He is also a Vice Chair of the Architecture WorkingGroup in oneM2M, which is focusing on developing standards for M2M Service Layers.In an attempt to crack down the mystery of the Ecosystem for M2M and IoT, hehas been devoting most of his time travelling around the world to meet withpeople in different trades and to learn the “Do’s and Don’ts” of various typesof services. Dr. Tseng received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering fromthe University of Texas at Dallas. He is a Life Member of Chinese Institute ofEngineers-USA (CIE-USA) and a longtime contributor to the CIE-USA DFW Chapter. Withall the meetings and discussions promoting IoT Services among interestedparties in Asia, Europe, and Americas, his next milestone, literally, is tobecome a Four-Million-Miller of American Airline’s Advantage Program.
