Sampath Ramaswami is Vice President of Strategy and Global Business Development at Hughes/EchoStar, responsible for strategic growth strategies. Currently he leads Business Development for EchoStar’s Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) activities. In addition, he leads a corporate level Center of Excellence focused on market intelligence and analytics. Previously, Sampath was the Senior Director of Product Management and Marketing, where he was responsible for launching new solutions and maintaining solutions roadmap for the enterprise market.

Prior to joining Hughes, Sampath was with AT&T Bell Laboratories in New Jersey, USA, where he held a variety of roles ranging from product development to product planning.

Sampath holds a Masters in Electrical Engineering from the George Washington University, Washington D.C.
