Satish Sadagopan is a Distinguished Engineer, CTO, and Generative AI Lead at the IBM Global Center of Excellence for the Telecom industry. With over 26 years of experience, Satish is a recognized technology leader specializing in Telecom Operations Support Systems (OSS), network cloud platforms, and cognitive network operations. He has advised global service providers on large-scale transformation initiatives, defining strategy, architecture, and roadmaps to migrate from legacy systems to next-generation, AI-driven solutions.

An IBM and Open Group Certified Distinguished Architect and a Telco Industry Diamond Badge Consultant, Satish leads IBM Consulting’s global solutions for Telecom and Media Generative and Agentic AI, as well as Cognitive Network Operations and Field Services. He drives thought leadership in AI-infused network solutions, RFP strategy, and the development and delivery of complex, multi‑million‑dollar programs. Satish also served as co-chair of the TM Forum workgroup on AI-driven Closed Loop Automation, helping shape industry standards for autonomous networks
