Tzeitel Buchanan is the Director of Public Sector Programs and Community Partnerships at Lumen.

Tzeitel brings more than 25 years of telecommunications experience to her role, where she is advancing Lumen’s mission to build the backbone of AI by digitally connecting people, data, and applications-- quickly and securely. In her role, Tzeitel cultivates relationships with partners to ensure that all communities have network access, training, and resources in place to participate in the world’s AI-enabled economy.

Tzeitel’s tenure at Lumen has spanned a variety of roles, including project management, team leadership, customer service, operations supervision, contract negotiation, relationship building and problem resolution. Prior to joining Lumen, she held several leadership roles at Windstream Communications and MCI WorldCom.

Tzeitel holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a bachelor's degree from Saint Leo University. Residing in Oklahoma, she serves on various community boards. An outdoor enthusiast, she enjoys hiking, camping, and gardening.
