Dr. Sudharman K. Jayaweera is a Program Director in the Emerging Technologies section of the Division of Innovation Technology and Ecosystems in the Directorate of Technology, Innovation and Partnerships, or TIP, at the National Science Foundation with primary responsibility for the Advanced Telecommunications. Dr. Jayaweera is also a tenured Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of New Mexico with research expertise in wireless communications, statistical signal processing and information theory. He holds a PhD and an MA from Princeton University, USA and a BE from the University of Melbourne in Australia.
