Brendan has led the architecture of multiple Telco-TV services across Europe – including the BAFTA-winning 'Homechoice' triple-play service from Video Networks Ltd, and most recently for BT TV and BT Sport. At BT he has enabled the delivery of live TV services over consumer broadband, the launch of BT Sport, and Champion's League coverage – including Europe's first live sport UHD TV channel, innovative interactive Connected Red Button services, and enhanced interactive services for OTT sport delivery. He also architected the platform that delivers BT TV's new award-winning ‘personalised' TV user experience. In his role as Head of Architecture, Brendan works closely with product owners and business stakeholders to understand and shape their roadmaps and requirements, and to define robust and scalable technical architectures that deliver great customer experiences
