Anna Winger is an American-British screenwriter, novelist and essayist, creator of the television series, Deutschland83/86, and founder of the company, Studio Airlift. Her new series, Unorthodox (Netflix), is currently in production and will air in early 2020. Winger was raised in Kenya, Massachusetts and Mexico and studied at Columbia University in New York. She has received Peabody, Emmy and Adolf Grimme awards for her work. She lives in Berlin with her family.
