Fireside Chat with Sunita Rajan Senior Vice President of Advertising Sales, CNN
Sunita Rajan is the Senior Vice President Advertising Sales for CNN International across the Asia Pacific region. She oversees an extensive client portfolio and leads teams based across Asia Pacific.
Rajan is a key member of CNN International Commercial’s leadership team which guides the brand’s international commercial strategy. Her remit is to continue building CNN’s business growth trajectory in Asia Pacific. She is responsible for setting the business strategy to drive advertising revenue for CNN’s global portfolio of multi-platform products among Asia Pacific based advertisers. With an emphasis on bespoke integrated advertiser solutions across the full range of CNN’s linear and non-linear properties, she is responsible for managing strategic relationships and brand partnerships.
Rajan is a media industry veteran with a career spanning over 25 years. She joined CNN in 2015 as Vice President and head of Advertising Sales for CNN International APAC. Prior to joining CNN, she held the role of Executive Vice President Advertising Sales Asia at BBC Worldwide and during her illustrious career she has worked for media brands such as Star Television, News Television (India). Fluent in English, Hindi, Marathi and Tamil, she holds a BA from St Xavier’s College Mumbai, a Master in Economics from Mumbai University and a Diploma in Business Management from Xavier Institute of Communications Mumbai.
