Thawatvongse Silamanonda has started his career in online startups since 2000 with Mono Group running the most popular online travel booking in Thailand at that time hotelthailand.com. Later, as SVP of International business development, he set up offices in Indonesia, Myanmar, Vietnam and Korean to expand Mono’s business in mobile value added services and OTT services including video streaming. Thawatvongse was a board member of the Mobile Ecosystem Forum in Asia for 2 consecutive terms and also spoke in different international forums including Digital Matters in Singapore and Asian Carriers in Bangkok. At present, Thawatvongse is leading Viu in Thailand with his extensive knowledge of local and regional online business and marketing.
