Anthony Shiner role as Chief Digital Lifestyle and Innovation Officer at Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (EITC).
This role covers leading Digital Transformation & Innovation across Du & Virgin. Included in his remit are, Digital Sales & Service Robotics, New Business Innovations, Business intelligence and Customer Experience.
As a globally experienced Executive prior to journey EITC, Anthony’s most recent role was Executive Director of Telstra Digital. Leading the transformation of Australia’s largest Telco’s digital assets saw significant movement in the delivery of. His role included planning and delivery of platforms that managed over 400 m Annual interactions. Transformational highlights include the reduction of 1 M Contact Center Calls due to Digital Asset Optimization.
Anthony developed his early career in Sydney, Australia, before joining Singtel where he held a variety of positions, including that of Chief Revenue Officer for Group Digital Life. In this role, he was responsible for developing and a portfolio of strategic digital businesses across Asia Pacific, which serviced over 600 million mobile customers. This role included P&l ownership of Online learning Analytics
And Business Intelligence, Online Automated Advertising Sales, Music Streaming Services as well as Website designing and Building.
Anthony has developed his career in Telecommunications Technology Industries having led Sales /Distribution Business, headed up product for, mobile (postpaid & prepaid), Broadband, Pay TV, Digital as well as owning transformation roles across geographies.
Anthony also has had seats on Parramatta Rugby League Club Board, Singapore Advertising Standards Council, & The Mobile Gamer (JV with Softbank).
Anthony holds a Master of Science in Management, Business Administration and Management from Stanford University and a Bachelor Degree in sports Science (Exercise Science), university of the New South Wales.
