Violeta has over 15 years of international business development and marketing experience from within the hotel, online travel agency, and travel technology sectors, with specialty in the areas of electronic distribution and digital marketing.

Her career in the travel space spans, among others, multiple roles at Starwood Hotels & Resorts, known for its powerful lifestyle brands and digital innovation, and she is now in charge of growing the digital media business for Middle East and Africa regions at Travelport, a global travel commerce platform providing distribution, technology, payment and other solutions for the travel and tourism industry.

In addition to her love of all things relating to travel and technology, Violeta is also a passionate FIA and FIM certified motorsport official delivering local and international on-track and off-road racing events, including MotoGP and Formula 1.
