Richard Middleton is editor of Television Business International (TBI) and has spent the past seven years covering the global TV business. Before joining TBI, he was editor of C21Media’s flagship magazine C21 International, a role he took on in 2016 having joined the company as a senior reporter three years earlier.

Prior to that, Richard spent five years at BBC Online as a sub-editor and reporter, and before that, worked for publishers including Trinity Mirror, Fairfax Media, The Independent, Reed Business and DMG Media
