I am a commercially experienced C suite executive developing and leading on all forms of strategy from corporate through data to technology. I successfully transitioned those skills and experiences into my leadership role in the Public Sector at the Intellectual Property Office (IPO), where I have been an Executive Director and its Chief Technology Officer for the last 5 years.I am also a Non-Executive Director for a strategic government agency and a governor at a Top 50 University. I am passionate about transformation with an aspiration to make organisational agility a core capability.

I put a significant focus on people and believe that digital, data and technology functions need to be critical enablers of any transformational change agenda. So making sure I&T is ready first, is my mantra. And as probably the UK’s first commercially appointed Chief Data Officer, I also have a fundamental understanding of the value data assets can bring to an organisation. I have worked in Media, Retail, Mobile Telecoms and Oil & Gas in the private sector as well as my exec and non exec roles in the public sector.
