Zhiyong Huang is currently the Vice President and a Party Leadership Group Member of China Telecom Group Co., Ltd. Born in August 1971, he holds a Master’s degree in Electronic and Communication Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He is also a Senior Engineer.

Throughout his career, he has held several key positions, including Director of the Computer Department at Wuhan Telecom Bureau’s Technical Service Branch, Deputy Director and Chief Engineer of the Data Communication Bureau at China Telecom’s Wuhan Branch, Deputy General Manager (temporary exchange) at China Telecom’s Shenzhen Branch, and General Manager of the Customer Service Department at China Telecom Corporation Limited. In February 2025, he was appointed as Deputy General Manager and Party Leadership Group Member of China Telecom Group Co., Ltd.
