Dr. Jiawei Shao is a research scientist at the Institute of Artificial Intelligence, China Telecom (TeleAI), under the direction of Prof. Xuelong Li. Jiawei is a principal investigator focusing on a wide range of topics including AI Flow, Large Multimodal Model, Edge AI, Task-Oriented Communications, and Federated Learning. He received his Ph.D. from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and received a bachelor's degree from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. He has published more than 30 research papers in top-tier journals and conferences, including Nature Communications and Nature Machine Intelligence.
