Charles Murito is the Regional Director of Policy & Government Affairs, Sub Saharan Africa and is responsible for overseeing engagement with Governments & Regulators to evangelise digital transformation through policy, with a view to achieve economic growth.
He took this role after almost six years as Google’s Country Director for Kenya, where he oversaw amongst other responsibilities, in-country revenue growth.
Charles also serves as a Board Director for Absa Bank Kenya, and previously was a Board Director for CSQuared, a Google portfolio company.
Outside work, Charles loves good food, art, farming and is passionate about leveraging technology to drive economic development.
