The REAH mobile app which was launched in June 2019, REAH meaning ‘hear’ spelled backwards. This app aims at bridging the communication gap that exist between the hearing and Deaf people. REAH is not only for hearing individuals but also Deaf individuals who wish to learn sign language, whereby they can utilise this application in order to develop their signing skills. The app has been downloaded over 100 times, and it is available for download on Android App store with iOS version under development, with deployment being planned for the last quarter of 2020.

ABOUT REAH-C9

With the REAH- C9 solution, three-way communication is enabled for anyone (i.e. hospitals, banks, police services) by availing a network of sign language interpreters. These interpreters will remotely provide live interpretation through the REAH-C9 solution, therefore reducing the cost of deploying interpreters on site. REAH-C9 will remotely connect clients with available interpreters by using “live interpretation” to enable communication with the Deaf individual through wearable glass technology. Given the excitement about this unboxing product launch, public and private stakeholders have the opportunity to be early adopters in the market by advancing REAH-C9 wearable technology with this “first-in-class” solution that facilitates a Digital Deaf conversation.
