The Content Innovation Awards is set to return to Cannes for its 9th year, in an exclusive partnership with MIPCOM. This prestigious event aims to celebrate companies that are making significant contributions to the transformation of the global television industry.
As the television industry continues to evolve rapidly, it is crucial to recognise and honour those companies that are at the forefront of innovation. The Content Innovation Awards provide a platform for industry leaders to showcase their achievements, celebrate their outstanding content and share their insights with the global television community.
The awards cover a wide range of categories, including Best New Scripted Series, Best Documentary, FAST Channel of the Year, The Sustainability & Innovation Award, and The Representation & Inclusion Award, among others. These categories reflect the diverse and dynamic nature of the television industry today.

Content Innovation Awards (CIAs) believe our community should be truly open and inclusive to everyone. We believe that maintaining a friendly, safe and welcoming environment is of utmost importance. This code of conduct serves as a guide for participants to understand the expectations of their behavior and the consequences of any unacceptable actions.

Content Innovation Awards 2022 Highlights
Irvine Welsh’s Crime, Once Upon a Time in Londongrad and The Masked Singer were among the stand-out shows celebrating success at the 8th Content Innovation Awards (CIA), which took place on November 15 at Church House Westminster in London.
Companies including YouTube, Cineflix Rights, Banijay Rights and BBC Studios also took home prizes in key Awards categories at the annual CIA’s, which are run by industry-leading title Television Business International (TBI).
